The world of supplements can be bewildering
I'm Daisy, City Survivor's founder and nutritionist. I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2011, following three years of study. I've worked in the health industry since then; I know it's hard to pick out good quality from the huge range of supplements available. So, I've formulated a simple, high quality range to help busy people like me (I design what I want to take and I really do use them all).
Modern life is stressful
We live or work in cities. It can be stressful and sometimes sleep suffers...and we enjoy socialising.
You take care of your health, but don’t want to give up everything you enjoy. The”100% clean” lifestyle isn't practical - I love a zingy juice, but green powders taste like ponds. I don’t believe we all have to give up simple pleasures such as wine, or pizza!
Food supplements can't do away with our need for proper food, but I find the extra help invaluable.
Keeping it simple
I know that busy people forget to take their supplements, so I’ve avoided powders and fridges. Capsules can be taken at work, left in your bag, kept by your bed. I've learnt a lot about supplement ingredients over the years, and I've used only what's high quality and effective. I will never cut costs with ingredients.
